Something new, Something blue
Something new, something blue. Does it ring a bell? Don"t panic. Nobody is getting married. It is however a new relationship with our brand and logo.
We came up with the idea out of necessity because sometimes it's good to recycle your 70's bell bottoms or see-through halter tops. Well, I think bell bottoms are still cool. They are called crop pants now.
The founding ladies of Power of The Dragon had dedicated themselves to wearing yellow and black for over 17 years. We needed new t-shirts since half the boat of new paddlers needed to feel part of the team. We went back and forth on keeping the yellow and we ended up choosing the blue that is maybe a more common colour but it has many great characteristics.
For one, it is associated with water, the sky and nature. More people like blue than any other colour. It"s the first colour that the iris of your eye recognizes. Pretty and popular. It's universal. It goes all with yellow, pink, green, black. Well, it pretty much looks good with any colour.
