The ladies on the boat have many inspirational stories about how it all started and the newcomers have stories about what motivates them to keep showing up to practices.
Dragon boating can be soothing as it can be invigorating. It really depends on your personal motivation. Some women feel the energy of the boat being lifting from the synchronized paddling while others are immersed in the rhythm of the paddles swishing into the Lachine Canal. Whatever gets you moving, we hope it brings joy and sense of accomplishment.
